Sarah Altherr
07.09 / 09.09 - Ballet
This class follows the traditional structure of a classical ballet training. We begin at the barre, finding our grounding and gradually activating different muscle groups and kinetic chains. We take this foundation into the space for centre and jumps. Through exercises that play with different rhythms, changes of direction and weight transfers, we invite the body to stay responsive and adaptable. Particular attention is given to the spine as a source of support and connection, allowing us to move with control and create extension throughout the body.
The class encourages each dancer to connect technical precision with individual awareness, exploring how to use the whole body without losing stability. The aim is to create a focused and playful practice that leaves the body warm, grounded and ready to move on.
